This mimeographed country and folk music journal which has been called a veritable "research discography". Published quarterly starting in 1951 the 16 issues are Vol. 1 Nos.1-4 1951; Vol. 2 Nos. 1-3 1952; and Nos. 10 12-19 1957-1961. With a hand-written artist index on 4" x 6" index cards giving artist name issue number and page number no indication of author but from the collection of noted folklorist Frank Hoffman. Additionally Disc Collectors New Letter Nos. 1-5 Jan.-Sept. 1964 along with 2 pages of New Releases and a blank application for membership to Disc Collectors Record Club. Very Good or better overall slight musty smell assorted small corner creases. A remarkable and RARE treasure trove for the collector of early country and folk music.
