Light rubbing on the front cover plate, first 5 pages show some foxing, fore-edges slightly yellowed, otherwise very clean and sound, in great shape. The grandest compendium ever gathered of esoteric lore, mythology, and historical anecdote. Filled to the brim with ancient woodcuts. A dense encyclopedia and a solid starting point from which to dive into subjects such as the Qabbala, Alchemy, Tarot, Ceremonial Magic, Neo-Platonic Philosophy, Mystery Religions, and the theory of Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry.
