Includes a good bibliography. The dustwrapper is unusual in that the publisher's blurb occupies the whole of the inner surface. Compiled from many participants' accounts, this is still the finest one-volume account of D-Day. It is the basis of Ken Annakin's well-known feature film (1962) starring John Wayne, Kenneth More and a host of other stars. VERY SCARCE IN ANYTHING LIKE THIS CONDITION. Enser, p.292.
