6388Après la chute de l'Empire, Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte (1808-1873) établit, avec sa mère et son frère, sa résidence en Suisse au château d'Arenenberg. C'est principalement là qu'il fit son éducation politique et militaire sous Philippe Lebas et Vieillard qui lui inculquèrent les principes de la Révolution. A la mort du Duc de Reichstadt en 1832, Louis-Napoléon devient la figure centrale et active du parti bonapartiste. De sa retraite d'Arenenberg, il publia, de 1832 à 1836, divers ouvrages politiques et militaires. Dans ce deuxième ouvrage, il défend certaines des thèses de son oncle. Bonnefoi.

Lord William Pitt Lennox 1799-1881 was a British Army officer and writer of bad novels.
