Napoli: Neapoli, Felix Carolus Musca excudit, 1739 4to.; 330 pp., con numerosas reproducciones grabadas, entre el texto, de diferentes tipos de "ascia". Encuadernación en pergamino fuerte, a la romana, de la época. Un acabado estudio de la fórmula epigráfica romana de la "Dedicatione sub Ascia", escrito y dedicado en esta "Epístola" dirigida al poderoso primer ministro de Parma Bernardo Tanucci por el gran filólogo y arqueólogo napolitano Mazzocchi, en el que se transcriben un gran número de lápidas e inscripciones, tomadas en buena parte de los entónces recientes hallazgos en Lyon y sobre todo en Herculano. La obra contiene también una erudita revisión de todas las fuentes de la antigüedad griega y hebrea sobre el mismo tema. Alessio Simmaco Mazocchi fue definido por Winckelmann como "l'ornement des savans d'Italie".
In-8° (cm. 24x15,5), ogni annata circa 90 / 110 pagine; l'annata 1966 ha 220 pagine..6 volumi, di cui i primi 3 in mezza in tela rossa altri 2 in piena tela anni '60, titolo in oro su tasselli pelle ai dorsi, ; il 1966 in brossura edioriale. Ottimo il primo vol (1945-1947) e il 1966. I volumi rilegati in mezza tela recano tracce di umidità alle parti inferiori delle legature senza danni all'interno; I due volumi in piena tela (anni 1954-1961) hanno vistose tracce e aloni da umidità ma solo in fondo alle prime e ultime pagine. Ogni volume di 3 annate € 100. Il 1966 € 50. Il lotto di 16 annate € 360. A chi acquistasse l'intero lotto, daremo in omaggio il volume delle annate 1962-1965, quasi del tutto fruibile benché gravemente compromesso da vecchia umidità.

Else fine. ; This is the final volume of the monumental corpus of more than 12,000 ancient inscriptions from Athens and Attica dating from 403/2 BC to the 3rd cent. AD, edited by Johannes Kirchner between 1912 and 1940 (IG II/III2 , partes 1-4). These are supplemented here by the late-Roman and early-Christian inscriptions from the years between the destruction of Athens by the Heruli (267/68) and the end of the 6th cent. AD. Together with Corinth and Thessalonica, Athens has produced the largest number of Christian inscriptions from the Greek motherland. Particularly notable is the co-existence of pagan and Christian texts well into the 5th cent. The volume contains 422 inscriptions, which have been re-examined and edited, and illustrated on 44 plates. Besides decrees, honorary inscriptions, quotes from the Bible, acclamations, intercessions and blessings, the main contribution comes from 300 funerary inscriptions.
