Testimonianza dell?attivita' di Danilo Dolci, sociologo e attivista della nonviolenza che opero' in Sicilia a Borgetto (Palermo) e si impegno' nella creazione della struttura socio assistenziale Borgo di Dio. Il 2 febbraio 1956 ha luogo a Partinico lo sciopero alla rovescia. Alla base c'e' l'idea che, se un operaio, per protestare, si astiene dal lavoro, un disoccupato puo' scioperare invece lavorando. Cosi' centinaia di disoccupati si organizzano per riattivare pacificamente una strada comunale abbandonata; ma i lavori vengono fermati dalla polizia e Dolci, con alcuni suoi collaboratori, viene arrestato. L'episodio suscita indignazione nel Paese, e provoca numerose interrogazioni parlamentari. Dolci venne successivamente scagionato, dopo un processo che ebbe enorme risalto sulla stampa: a difenderlo fu il giurista Piero Calamandrei. Ritorna anche in questa pubblicazione l'eco di un utilizzo dell'immagine fatto da Dolci nel suo primo libro del 1954 (Fare presto e bene?).
