Louis Henri Laffillée, né en 1859 à Paris et décédé en 1947, a restauré des édifices emblématiques tels que la cathédrale de Reims et l'abbatiale Sainte-Foy de Conques. M. Laffillée, fut également architecte en chef des monuments historiques, service qu'il quitta en 1921 après une carrière remarquable.
