Contents consist of 93 single spaced one sided typed pages with an additional 28 pieces of paper varying in size of additional hand written records laid in. Covers are wrinkled and creased with closed edge tears. Light insect damage on the spine. Several notes written on the front cover. <br /> <br /> The compiler expresses her appreciation for the help she received in putting this family genealogy together on page 93. Her signature is at the end of her statement. Inscription on front cover in blue pen reads; "Given to Eloise Norris by Nellie Marshall Patterson Aug 1958." Norris writes her own notes on the front cover. <br /> <br /> According to the first paragraph on page 1 "Thomas Marshall lived and owned land somewhere near Earlysville Va. or it may have been nearer Free Union.Thomas Marshall's will is recorded in Albemarle County." Uncertain of the birth date for Thomas Marshall or who his parents were but the author does provide the location for his 1849 will in Albemarle County. Several names dates locations etc. provided for the Marshall family. Mrs. Obadiah Bass unknown

Blind embossed bookseller stamp on the right front flyleaf from Columbus Ohio. 1857 previous owner inscription in another language written on the right front flyleaf reads - Johann Charls Herpilsheimer den 13 Aprill 1856." Stitching visible in the inside margins however the book is still very solid. Text in French. The History of the Blazon and the Science of Coat of Arms. A classic on the subject. Some pages are torn out one leave is detached and some are lightly stained. Fair.<br /> <br /> This small pocket book contains Massey family genealogy with several names and records written inside. Most of the pencil written records are from the 1870's. The earliest date recorded is in January 1862. The ledger had multiple purposes with some accounts and other misc. information recorded. The last note abut the Massey family was written in 1946. On the front paste down in old ink inscription "Office of Fuller & Co. Chicago Illinois John Baker." Also included is a yellow pin clipped notice titled "Yellow Day. n/a hardcover

Covers have light edge wear. Ledger contains 62 leaves 124 pages of which 89 pages were used for recording names and other information. Eight used pages in the back only have one word to a brief heading top of the page. Several leaves in front and in the middle of the ledger were removed. Contents inside are clean. No owner name or group name recorded. <br /> <br /> Contents consist of alphabetical listing of Norwich citizens. The first page has the written heading on the top line "Residence. List of Voters in Norwich - 1834 - Political." Underneath the heading are 4 columns with the last name followed by the first names. The first name listed is Richard Adams. The last name is Marcus Young. A nice primary source of local family genealogy of Norwich. n/a unknown
