400 pages. Index of names. Generously illustrated with black and white reproductions of archival photos. Folded map of "Cecil Lake's Early Trails and First Landowners" laid inside back board. Colour photo endpapers. "Our book is divided into three basic parts; the usual introduction, an overview of the development of the community, and the stories of the people/families. Because the people settled in three areas, each area got its own school: Cecil Lake, Transpine and Erinlea. In the book, these areas are named: Westend, Transpine and Erinlea. Areas further out have been named Dogpatch, East Cecil Lake, Northwest Cecil Lake and Siphon Creek. Stories are arranged more or less in the order that settlers came to Cecil Lake." - p.11.
