Book is in excellent condition in bright red cloth the decorative cover in gilt, gilt print and decoration at spine. Very light wear to corners and endpapers, prev. owner's name at front are only flaws. First published in 1856. Illustrated with 112 full page, very lavish plates plus other designs, almost all in full color. Large book, 13.25" tall. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Dust jacket shows edge wear, with chipping, small tear lower spine.
