Handwritten catalogue of books from the library of the Redemptorists in Antwerp (Belgium) dated 1893, [ca. 300] unnumbered pages, large folio (47x36cm.), contemporary hardcover binding (gilt title on upper board and on spine, joints partly broken at ends, some use at edges, corners bumped), marbled endpapers, text and interior in good condition, [continuation of title (page): "Librorum omnium Indicem secundum litterarum ordinem conficiet, tot vero ordines distinguit quot sunt Disciplinarum genera. This catalogue gives a good impression of the holdings of such kind of library at the end of the 19th century. Follows the indication No. 6 Somascan Fathers, three priests, and three lay people, the Infirmary of the Men, the Infirmary of the Women, From the Daughters, To the Medical, and surgical care of the Infirmaries, Orphans, and Orphans, To the administration of the Company.
