Namen, die einst Terror und Tod über Europa brachten, tauchen wieder öffentlich auf: „Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler", „Das Reich", „Hitlerjugend", „Totenkopf". An historian and lawyer, Robinson (1889-1977) was born in what is now Lithuania and graduated from the University of Warsaw law school. He helped establish a Hebrew school system after WWI, and in 1922 was admitted to the bar and elected to the young Lithuanian parliament. As the Nazis gathered power in Germany, Robinson put together a secret committee to protect Jewish rights, and used his position and connections to help German Jews emigrate to Lithuania. In 1940, he left Lithuania for New York, where he continued to work for European Jewry, establishing the Institute of Jewish Affairs, assisting the prosecution at the Nuremburg trials, helping the UN establish the Human rights Commission, and drafting Israel's Reparation Agreement with West Germany. La battaglia ideologica si sarebbe giocata con la propaganda, gli approfondimenti politici e culturali con i seminari e i convegni; mentre la rivoluzione europea sarebbe esplosa sui campi di battaglia, combattendo nei ranghi del primo esercito politico a vocazione europea: la Waffen SS. "Germanische Gemeinschaft" descrive la profondità culturale e spirituale di questa nuova costruzione politica continentale, riallacciandosi alle sue radici nordiche e germaniche. Mentore di questa pubblicazione di propaganda, apparsa in due fascicoli tra il 1941 e il 1942, fu Franz Riedweg, SS-Obersturmbannführer, veterano delle campagne di Polonia, Francia e fronte orientale.
