196315769JLos Angeles: Chrislaw Productions 1963. Original 139 page final shooting script bradbound in blue printed studio wrappers. Signed on the title page in blue ink by the film’s star Henry Silva using his name as well as that of his character Johnny Cool. Accompanying is the screenplay creation archive belonging to the film’s producer Milton Ebbins consisting of 335 pages of drafts and rewrites used in creating the screenplay consisting of original ribbon typescript carbon typescript and typed pasteups. With extensive pencil rewrites corrections and commentary about the direction of the screenplay on many of the pages. Very good condition. Considered one of the classics of neo Film Noir the film was directed by William Asher and starred Henry Silva in the title role Elizabeth Montgomery Richard Anderson Jim Backus Joey Bishop Sammy Davis Jr. and Telly Savalas. The film tells the story of the lives and loves of Italian and American gangsters. A very strange and usual crime film that is even more remarkable in that director William Asher is best remembered for previously directing the largest number of episodes 107 of the great comedy classic - I Love Lucy. Filming Johnny Cool was a 180 degree turn for the director. An amazing archive showing in detail the details and lengths that were taken to craft the screenplay and such a collection is rarely found dealing with a significant film. 1971125382London: Rolling Stones Records 1971. Vintage lithograph promotional poster for the classic 1971 album playfully and conceptually utilizing the original album design by Andy Warhol.

A scarce item made on the London side of the Atlantic to promote the British release though presumably never released. Printed on an unusually thick textured stock and machine-folded as issued.

Rather than licking their wounds after Altamont the Rolling Stones recorded a follow-up that was the equal of "Let It Bleed" taking "Brown Sugar" from a drug-induced all-night session in Muscle Shoals "Sister Morphine" from the "Let It Bleed" sessions and 8 more blistering tracks recorded in their mobile unit during the summer of 1970. Andy Warhol famously designed the jeans-and-zipper cover which the boys make humorous use of here. Virtually every track today is a staple of rock radio including "Bitch" "Sway" "Wild Horses" "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" Dead Flowers" and "Moonlight Mile."

23 x 35 inches on heavy textured stock and machine folded as issued.
