194696905Hollywood CA: 20th Century-Fox 1946. 1946. Very good. - An 8-1/8 inch high by 10 inch wide glossy black & white vintage photograph depicting the cast and crew of "Three Little Girls In Blue" on the stage set. June Haver and George Montgomery stand watching a couple kissing at center. Another couple is seated on a park bench at center front as others picnic and stroll along the beach. Others stroll along a boardwalk in the background. A cameraman sits behind his camera stationed on a crane. The director Lloyd Bacon and head cameraman Ernie Palmer are in the foreground. There is minor creasing. Very good. <p>This a vintage publicity photo not a reproduction sent out to newspapers and periodicals of the period. Text from a printed press release mounted with glue on the verso reads: "Backstage with a Roving Cameraman. Probably one of the world's most interesting jobs belongs to 20th Century-Fox's roving cameraman Emmett Schoenbaum. Each day he roams at will from stage to stage and works only when an appropriate picture presents itself. The only stipulation imposed upon him by his employer is to catch his subjects 'off-guard'. At no time is he allowed to pose a picture. These off-stage shots representing a typical day's work in the life of Mr. Schoenbaum should interest the millions of movie fans who never get a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes in a big studio. Emmett gets behind the scenes on the set of 'Three Little Girls In Blue' for this over-all shot of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. June Haver and George Montgomery stand center watch a couple making love. Man wearing a basebal sic cap in foreground is Lloyd Bacon the Director of the picture and to his right is Head Cameraman Ernie Palmer. Notice the two extra players sitting on bench in foreground holding hands - oblivious of the fact that they are entirely out of camera range." The Press release is credited to "Harry Brand Publicity Director 20th Century-Fox". Hollywood, CA: 20th Century-Fox, (1946). unknown
