The first 15 pages has minor chips to the margin of the lower edges of the pages. Without a dust jacket and probably as issued. 583 pages including an index chronology and text. Illustrated from facsimiles of historical documents and images from black and white photographs. There is a significant section of the text devoted to the British raid on Danbury which occurred in April of 1777 during the American Revolution.
