Cover photo accredited as 'Fred Instructing La Jolla 1980 Feb.' most likely Hatch's photo of Lynn's brother Fred Lonidier. Lynn Lonidier was a Bay Area avant garde artist and poet in her owns words a “card-carrying anarchafeminist†active in the lesbian and feminist literary scenes and in her Mission District community as a teacher from the 1970's until her death in 1993. She was a "founding mother" of the SF Women's Building. She also studied music with Pauline Oliveros at UCSD and cello at SF State among many other pursuits. Ron Silliman called her “perhaps the first true avant-garde lesbian poet after Gertrude Steinâ€<br /> Connie Hatch is a Bay Area artist who works in photography audio instillation and narrative performance. unknown
