A fine set of the preferred issue with all the plates hand-coloured. The set also has an interesting association with its author: the original owner Frederick DuCane Godman an English lepidopterist entomologist and ornithologist was one of the twenty founding members of the British Ornithologists' Union and collaborated with Bowdler Sharpe on a number of ornithological publications. hardcover
