He sent us one copy of the poster which of course we had to send on to Kesselring. I wrote Jan asking for more copies. He sent me a collection of posters of his theatre in Prague. After searching my mind as to who would really appreciate these it occurred to me that I knew no one who would appreciate their beauty as examples of poster art more than yourself so here is a set." It is regrettable that your wife and you are not part of the photograph. But perhaps we will meet again in England. With warmest regards." Signed in full and in fine condition.<br/><br/> Austrian-Swedish physicist who worked with Otto Hahn and Otto Robert Frisch in discovering that nuclear fission of uranium took place when it absorbed an extra neutron. Very scarce T.L.S. 4to. 1 page King Records Cincinnati Ohio to Sid Prosen songwriter and record label owner best remembered for discovering Hank Williams and later Tom & Jerry better known as Simon and Garfunkel in full: "Received your letter of the 12th and as requested have had 75 of Hawkshaw Hawkins record #793 sent to your brother in Silver Springs Maryland. Hope he can do some good in that territory with it." Hawkshaw Hawkins stayed with Syd Nathan from 1947 until his death in a plane crash March 5th 1963 with fellow label mate Cowboy Copas and Patsy Cline. Boldly signed using his rather rare full signature "Sydney Nathan". Fine condition.<br/><br/> Iconic American music executive who founded the legendary King Records a leading independent record label in 1943. He was a major contributor to the development of country and western music rhythm and blues and rock and roll and is credited with discovering many prominent artists most notably James Brown. Nathan was elected to the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.<br/><br/> unknown books

The disc jockey is a dulcet-voiced lady a la Tokyo Rose whom our lads call. Moscow Molly. That's the news part of the letter. Culturally matters are otherwise. Do you think they are beaming Van Cliburn as he knocks off Pathetique in that racy style You are wrong. Moscow Molly is a Rock-and-Roll addict and she also sends them such bourgeois gems as Louis Armstrong the Four Freshmen. and others. Moscow Molly even has the latest Rock-and-Roll sensation Splish-Splash which a lad aboard the Guided Missile Cruiser Boston tells me. In Marine lingo is a real tough platter." "I wish to thank the North Hollywood chapter the richest Parish in the Communist Party for sending the Kremlin such excellent platters which are in turn enjoyed bby our fleet."
