Edizione unica (copia unica XN4322). Esemplare in ottime condizioni (leggera abrasione alla cerniera anteriore, per il resto fresco e pulito). Dedica autografa dell’autore al frontespizio: «A Roberto questa copia tutta sua Nanni Balestrini». Nel 1966 Feltrinelli pubblicava l’esito di un esperimento del 1961 del poeta, scrittore e artista neoavanguardista Nanni Balestrini: realizzare, a partire da una matrice e grazie all’uso di un calcolatore elettronico, versioni potenzialmente infinitamente diverse di uno stesso testo. Tuttavia, quell’esperimento - «Tristano» - arrivò alle stampe e al pubblico in una sola versione, mancando dunque della capacità di mostrare le sottile ma significative variazioni generate dal calcolatore. Il presente volume riprende quell’esperienza, sfruttando le possibilità - impossibili nel 1966 - della stampa digitale per consegnare, a ciascun lettore, una copia davvero unica, una versione virtuale particolare all’interno delle 109.027.432.000 di «Tristano» elaborate. Come scritto nella quarta di copertina: «Questa non è una copia uguale a tutte le altre -- Ma è il tuo libro unico personale irripetibile -- Che ti ha scelto tra infinite versioni possibili -- Perché la storia di Tristano è tante storie -- E ogni lettore ha diritto alla sua storia».

Sixteen colour prints of Vietnamese children's art circa 1968 through 1970. Prints measure approximately 10.25" by 7.25" with actual picture size of approximately 8.5" by 6.25". All text in Vietnamese. Verso of each print bears print number (1 through 16), plus what appears to be title, artist's name, date, and age of artist. Print one shows a seated Ho Chi Minh surrounded by adoring children. Print five shows children gathering vegetation to assist soldiers in the camouflaging of a large truck-mounted rocket. Print 16 shows a soldier teaching children how to use a rifle. Prints are stored in a well-worn but still attractive colour-illustrated protective cover. Bottom of cover reads "Nha xuat ban my thuat - am nhac." Prints in nice shape with no markings. Includes yellowed business card of a Japan-based Canadian academic.
