After the war he achieved great success with his play Abraham Lincoln and became a founding member of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. In publisher's original red cloth bindings each accompanied by the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally smart with slight bumping and rubbing and the odd mark. Dust wrappers feature marginally heavier shelf wear resulting in a number of small tears and chips the most significant being to Napoleon: the Hundred Days. Marking also minorly more prominent Abraham Lincoln featuring a moderate tide mark to the front cover. Internally firmly bound.
