Hardcover, quarter bound in black leather with buckram sides; gilt decoration and gilt printing to spine, plus 4 shallow raised bands. Introduction in German and main text in Greek. Volume 2 in "Die Griechischen Christlichen Schriftsteller der Ersten Drei Jahrhunderte" series. Leather is quite worn at corners and spine, spine is cracked at rear hinge and there are scores to the front and rear boards. Former copy of the Mansfield College Library, with their bookplate to front pastedown. Annotation to FEP, otherwise contents are clean and unmarked. Lower page edges are a little wavy, possibly from damp exposure, but there aren't any watermarks. AD Used
