Quarto unpaginated clothbacked pictorial paper over boards a trifle loose extremities rubbed inked name on endpaper.

4 colour plates plus numerous black-and-whites by H. KA. Robinson. A scarce tome. Stories on "The Fairy of Simple Joy" "The Smile of the Sea Princess" " The Magic Knitting" "The Brave Tin Soldier" & "The Little Mermaid". Robinson's artwork is quite colorful and appealing the cover art is softer and more pastel and I am guessing that Robinson was an in-house illustrator for The Children's Companion but I find no listing of him/her in the DICTIONARY OF 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ILLUSTRATORS.
