Includes 72 engraved plates in each volume including frontis engravings all present and complete. Contemporary of that period bindings in black textured leather with dual spine lables in red extensive gilt decoration to spines marbled endpapers. Good to very good with expected rubbing to the covers and extremities joints good but several hinges internally cracked and secure text blocks sound top inch removed from each title page likely to remove a name short internal tears to preliminary blank of fourth volume occasional foxing to pages and plates but most very clean text pages occasionaly age-yellowed small modern name stamp at the top of each preliminary blank no other markings.
