Cover illustration a generic medal labeled 'la cicatrice' and back cover cartoon Iribe printed in monochrome. Paper stock is pulpy and acidic is somewhat toned dusty and edge worn with two inch-long marginal tears as well as the above-mention long split. After attempting to enlist at 25 in 1914 Cocteau joined with Paul Iribe to publish this patriotic journal fortnightly. By January 1915 1915 the journal published weekly. Publication ended in July 1915. Cocteau's contribution is a substantial poem 'La Grande Pitie des Victimes de France' printed in large-point occupying all three center pages.
