Il a rejoint vers 1927 l’équipe du Cabaret « La Vache Enragée » conduite par Roger Toziny. Jacques Cathy poursuit sa carrière de chansonnier après le décès de Toziny en 1939 et après la guerre il conduit parallèlement une carrière d’acteur dans le cinéma. Les Yeux de L'Ame is Bidermanas's first published work. His popular Paris des rêves which followed a similar format of combining poetry and photography was published later the same year. This work contains 16 photographs loosely inserted into folders printed with their accompanying poems written by French poet Gaston Charlet. It is uncommon with just one copy traced institutionally and just four times at auction. Quarto 255 x 230 mm. 18 card bifolia. Text in French. With 16 plates laid in. Loose in the portfolio as issued titles in black in ink manuscript to spine and in red and black to front cover of portfolio. Housed in the original cardboard slipcase. Short closed tear to foot of spine nicks to spine ends small puncture to centre of spine titles to spine slightly faded; a very good copy in the slipcase with slight creasing to spine. unknown
