The leaves of booklet step back with an index printed on the edges. It is similar to a thumb-indexed book but with the entire page edge acting as a navigation aid. The interior of the rear wrapper includes the statement "recipes and information compiled principally from the Professional bartenders guide with the permission of the author John T. Fitzgerald .". In addition to the recipes the booklet includes general information about spirits an illustrated guide to proper glassware and one page of snacks to accompany drinking. One small stain and a bit of rubbing to the silver-printed burgundy wrappers otherwise very good. OCLC locate three copies but not under Klein's name. H. Stiefol Co unknown books

Publisher's natural linen cloth with black morocco gilt spine label English and cover label Hebrew. In publisher's cardboard slipcase. Slipcase with a small piece missing from bottom. Overall a fine copy. "The Alphabet of Creation is one of the legends from the Sefer Har-Zohar or Book of Splendor an ancient Gnostic work written in Aramaic by a thirteenth century Spanish scholar named Moses de Leon who presented the work not as his own but as mystic knowledge revealed many centuries earlier to the Rabbi Simeon ben Yohai" colophon. Ben-Gurion explains that at this time "he is engaged in writing a book and will have to stay in his kibbutz Sde Boker." Original envelope. Rust from paper clip on top corner stamp of when received dated July 15 else very good. David Ben-Gurion 1886-1973 was most likely working on his 11 volume history of Israel's early years. He was head of the World Zionist Organization in 1946. He largely led the struggle for an independent Jewish state in Palestine. On May 14 1948 he formally proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel and was the first to sign the Israeli Declaration of Independence which he had helped to write.
