Decorated boards with rubbing to edges some light age-toning and small stains. Gilt to spine dulled. Gilt to top edge and uncut edges to pages. Mild offset to endpapers. Binding a little stretched between page 104 and accompany plate. Binding is otherwise extremely good. Illustrated with fifteen 15 tipped in colour plates with tissue guards intact but most creased and thirty 30 tipped in black & white plates. Most of the poems are also accompanied by small black & white vignettes. All plates present and in impeccable condition. Foreword by Archibald T. Strong. List of subscribers at rear. Also has remnants of original ribbon marker - now deteriorated with age. Limited to 1500 copies Muir 5592. Robust professional packaging and tracking provided for all parcels. 74 pages. First published in 1916. It appears that this limited edition was published to coincide with an exhibition of Outhwaite's work in Melbourne sold out within hours.
