With errata leaf at end. The coloured frontispiece depicts the colours; the plates include two of uniform and two of regiment badges. Extensive appendices detail succession of officers, alphabetical roll of officers, bases, annual enrolled strengths 1758-1875 and much other information. Includes records of First West York Supplementary Regiment from 1797-1799. In 1881 the unit was redesignated 3 Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Sutcliffe, p.360; White, p.156.
