Tratta dalla monumentale opera di Felix Benoist "Rome dans sa grandeur. Vues, monument ancient et modernes " stampata in 3 volumi, da Henri Charpentier, nel 1870.. .

L'opera è così composta: “La Pala d'Oro - Il Tesoro e il Museo”. Volumi in ottimo stato (nice copy).

Manca la prima e l'ultima carte bianche e mancanza dell'angolo inferiore del piatto anteriore, dorso rinforzato in epoca (01726/VENEZIA - SAN MARCO - BASILICA MARCIANA)

The page after the copyright has a declaration page from the Archiepiscopal Residence New York 1856 stating 'we herrby approve of the English Translation of the Life of the Blessed Virgin by Monseigneur Gentilucci and give our consent to its publication" followed by a facimilie signature of John Abp of N York.
