Photograph with annotation in manuscript pencil on the verso noting the name of German photographer Harry Shunk. Also included are two different vintage programs for the event.<br /> <br /> "Batcolumn" was commissioned by the US General Services Administration and depicts a giant baseball bat constructed in latticework COR-TEN steel and painted gray standing on its knob. The dedication ceremony was held on April 14 1977 and included remarks by Mayor of Chicago Michael A.
