The sale consisted of 21 outstanding pieces of art deco sculpture, all from a single owner private collection. Most of these works are by Demetre Chiparus (including Kora, Tanara, Fan Dancer, Two Tango Dancers, Starlight, the Finale with three Cabaret Dancers, the Sisters, Cleopatra, Russian Dancers, Les Amis de Toujours, Civa, La Mysterieuse all 13 works signed Chiparus. 7 works signed Ferdinand Preiss including: Spring Awakening, the Stile, Gamine, Torch Dancer, Con Brio, Breasting the Tape, Lighter than Air and Flame Leaper.
