Part of Styles' hugely popular Midshipman Quinn series. This book is in very good condition with only the top edge a little dusty and a little discolouration to the front hinge. There is an ex libris sticker to the publisher's page. The impressive jacket is fine with only a slight mark to the rear. Showell Styles was a highly prolific author of children's adventure stories set mainly in a mountaineering context a pursuit in which he also excelled. He also wrote a series of non-fiction books on various mountaineering topics. Faber unknown
