This is a sale catalog for an auction held in Berlin at Grisebach on October 25, 2018. The Sammlung Bernd Schulz auction was divided into three parts. Band I was the Alte Meister drawings section. Band III was all drawings by mostly German modern artists. We are offering Band II alone. This part of the auction was comprised of 30 drawings by Paul Holz (1883- 1938), a self-taught German Expressionist artist, perhaps less well known than some of the others. All the drawings in the catalog are reproduced in black & white. Actually black on tan or light yellow papers. All the drawings are portraits or caricatures.
