The hinges and joints remain tight and strong. Without its issued dust jacket. A small quarto measuring 10 3/8 by 7 1/2 inches containing 592 pages including an index bibliography notes and references and appendices of ship measurements the China-To-England Trade record ship passages California voyages ship and sail plans. 117 illustrations consisting of 4 photogravures 8 color plates 51 half-tones and reproductions of pen and ink drawings. Originally published in 1930 in New York by G. P. Putnam's Sons.
