We believe this image was taken during the Salt Lake City Elks convention in August of 1902.

"Yesterday the opening day of the National convention of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks was great. The weather was delightful not too warm and there were clouds enough to temper the rays of the sun. The great parade was a feature that attracted thousands and the excursus in the Tabernacle filled that immense auditorium." - Salt Lake Tribune 1902-08-03. unknown
