This focused assembly of 130 works 100 of which are promised gifts to the museum not only showcases Stenn's personal taste vision and passion as a collector but also offers a window into an era when artists reconsidered and reinvented the medium of drawing." museum site With essays by Mel Bochner and Mark Pascale a collector interview conducted by Mark Pascale an exhibition checklist arranged by artist name and the many full-color plates. At the time of the exhibition the drawings were merely on loan from Stenn's residence. In April 2015 Stenn donated them officially to the Art Institute of Chicago.
