ALs 2 pages regarding a meeting to a probable fellow member of Opus Dei.Henry Bordeaux 25 January 1870 – 29 March 1963 was a French writer and lawyer.Bordeaux came from a family of lawyers of Savoy. He was born in Thonon-les-Bains Haute-Savoie. His grandfather was a magistrate and his father served on the Chambéry bar. During his early life he relocated between Savoy and Paris and the tensions between provincial and city life influenced his writings. In his professional life he observed closely the dissolution of numerous families and analysed the causes and consequences of these. From the age of seventeen he spent three years in Paris studying law. Then he returned to practice law in Savoy. He returned to Paris after the publication of his first book during 1894. Foreword by Theodore Roosevelt.</p> <p>Guynemer was rejected five times for military service due to frailty but was accepted for training as a mechanic in late 1914. With perseverance and determination he joined Escadrille MS.3 renamed Escdrille N.3 later on in 1915 and remained in the same unit for the entirety of his service. On September 11th 1917 Guynemer failed to return from a combat mission and was officially declared missing September 25th 1917. With 54 air combat victories he was considered one of the ace pilots of World War One. Guynemer was awarded the Légion d'honneur the Croix de Guerre the Médaille militaire and the Order of Karadorde's Star. Yale University Press unknown
