Original etching was gifted to the Lucas Family for Christmas in 1967 featuring a kneeling angel set in a Dalian landscape with two other figures. The inscription in the plate written by Dali reads: "Merry X-Mas and for Good Luck to the Luca's 1967." 1959189120Greenwich: The New York Graphic Society 1959. First edition of this photobook collecting images of Dalí's singular work with jewels and precious metals. The artist writes "Paladin of a new Renaissance I too refuse to be confined. My art encompasses physics mathematics architecture nuclear science - the physico-nuclear the mystico-nuclear - and jewelry - not paint alone." The jewellery was made in New York by the Argentinean goldsmith Carlos Alemany and was acquired by the Owen Cheatham Foundation in 1958 which exhibited them at various premises. The collection is currently held at the Dalí Theater-Museu in Figueres. A numbered edition of 100 copies signed by the artist was also issued. Quarto.
