ABOUT THE AUTHOR:- Sarthak Sengupta received his M.Sc 1977 and Ph.D. 1983 degrees in Anthropology from Dibrugarh and Gauhati University respectively. He worked with the Anthropological Survey of India and North Eastern Hill University Shillong for quite some time. Professor Sengupta in all has about 270 research articles published in various reputed national and international professional journals besides several chapters in edited volumes. Moreover he has to his own credit twenty well-knitted books on Northeast Indian tribes. He has mentored ten number of Ph.D and completed several major research projects. He is an active life and executive member of several professional anthropological bodies and member of editorial boards of The Indian Journal of Anthropology West Bengal; Bulletin of the Department of Anthropology Dibrugarh University; Vision NE Lakhimpur Assam. Dr. Sengupta is at present Professor and Head Department of Anthropology; and Director i/c Centre for Northeast Studies Dibrugarh University Assam. His current research interest is genetical demography globin gene distribution population genetics bio-social studies diet and nutrition indigenous health practices and disadvantaged tribal population groups of Northeast India. Dali Dutta b 1984 completed her BA 2006 and M.A. 2008 securing first class and received the Ph.D. degree in Anthropology 2013 from Dibrugarh University. She is currently attached with the Department of Anthropology Dibrugarh University. She was awarded the UGC-NET 2008. She has three years of research experience as a Project Fellow in a UGC sponsored Major Research Project. She has published around 30 numbers of research papers in different pearly reviewed national and international journals and as chapters in books. She has also presented papers at various seminars. Her areas of research interest are human growth and nutrition demography dermatoglyphics and indigenous health practices. She is a Life member of the Indian National Confederation and Academy of Anthropologists INCAA West Bengal. ÉDITION ORIGINALE. 1 des 12 premiers exemplaires sur Japon impérial (I à X + A et B), celui-ci le n° II. Conservé tel que paru avec ses témoins. À propos de l'œuvre : "Hebdomeros", c’est le fantôme paisible, le spectre lumineux de Giorgio De Chirico, Dante et Virgile en une seule personne ! Il accomplit un périple complet à travers le monde créé par le peintre. De même que les peintures de Chirico demandent à être lues, ce livre exige qu’on le « regarde » ainsi que l’on regarde un tableau. « L’un des livres les plus superbement personnels qui nous aient jamais été offerts. Je pense que l’on suivra avec ravissement les détours du beau rêve romantique qui prend la place de la banale existence à condition que l’on ne s’arrête pas à l’aspect superficiel de la réalité… Aller jusqu’au fond de l’ordinaire, c’est le secret et c’est la méthode de Chirico comme de Kafka, et c’est le seul moyen efficace d’accéder à un univers fantastique », écrivait André Pieyre de Mandiargues. Un extrait avait paru dans le numéro 2 de Bifur en juillet 1929. Le célèbre sous-titre "Le peintre et son génie chez l'écrivain" ne fut apposé que sur la jaquette illustrée de l'édition courante et il disparaîtra dans l'édition de la collection "L'Âge d'or" en 1964 chez Flammarion. Cette fantaisie autobiographique de Giorgio De Chirico fait figure de paradoxe : si relativement peu d'études lui ont été consacrées, sa place hors ligne dans le cadre de la littérature surréaliste n'a jamais été mise en doute. L'ouvrage a été réédité par 21 maisons d'édition jusqu'en 2017 ! et traduit en huit langues. Conrado Tostado (traducteur), lors d'une réédition au Mexique en 2004, le décrit ainsi : « un roman caniculaire et métaphysique, surréaliste et mythologique ; de la mythologie contemporaine la plus respectable faite par un immense créateur de mythes. Brûlant pour agiter symboliquement et changeant comme les saisons chaudes des années. Il est circulaire et voluptueux dans différents temps et espaces. One Is 1 5/16" Thick The Frontispiece Faces The Title Page And The Paper Is Heavier. The Other Is Slightly Less Than 1 3/16" Thick The Frontispiece Faces Forward Recto The Paper Is Clearly Lighter And There Is A Touch Of Smudging To The Page Number "Ii". Given The Prominence Given To The Statement On The Copyright Page Showing Compliance With Wartime Printing Requirements Which The First Issue Clearly Does Not Meet I Would Assume The Thicker Book Was Printed First And The Thinner Soon After. Both Are Very Nice Completely Clean And Evenly-Colored Examples Each With Neat And Small Owners' Names.
