È stato riprodotto sotto la direzione di Teriade dai Maestri Stampatori Draeger per quanto riguarda le eliografie in bianco e nero e a colori e da Mourlot per la litografia a colori. Le illustrazioni del volume eliotipie e litografie realizzate dai maestri stampatori Draeger e Mourlot costituiscono una scelta curata direttamente dall'Artista di pagine dai carnets de travail che Braque aveva in precedenza sempre rifiutato di pubblicare. Per quasi 50 anni gli album di schizzi di Georges Braque sono stati il suo bene più prezioso. Le tele che gli hanno valso il primato tra i pittori viventi sono state da lui volentieri cedute a musei e collezioni private di tutto il mondo. Non così gli schizzi i guazzi e gli acquerelli da cui molti di questi dipinti sono stati tratti. Fino ad ora pochissime persone li hanno visti. E quando Braque ha finalmente acconsentito alla loro pubblicazione sotto la supervisione della grande casa editrice Verve non ha comunque permesso che gli album di schizzi fossero portati via dal suo studio; sono stati fotografati lì".
