He stays in Montpellier because he's in need of warmth and "serious" doctors. Dufy is sending his wife with 40 watercolors of a group which he qualifies as "beautiful & new". Eight hand-coloured lithographs from drawings by Raoul Dufy preserved in the original paper folder which has an explanation of the plates on the rear cover. Fashion plates of women wearing clothes designed by Doeuillet Doucet Lanvin Paquin Poiret Vionnet and Worth. Dufy's fashion illustration began in 1909 with the great French couturier Paul Poiret and continued with the Lyons-based silk manufacturer Bianchini-Ferier who invited Dufy to work on an industrial scale.The first plate is just a little rubbed at bottom edge otherwise a very good and attractive set in a very good indeed clean folder.
