In excellent condition with minimal creasing to edges of paper. <br> <br> Printed by Mourlot Studios a fine art lithography printer founded in Paris in 1852. Mourlot is known for pioneering and popularizing the art poster collaborating with prominent painters including Matisse Bonnard Miro and others. Pablo Picasso began collaborating with the studio in 1945 producing over 400 lithographs from his private corner of the studio where he lived for months at a time.<br/> <br/> Mourlot Editions unknown

Format in-4°(35x27).Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) est Influencé par le fauvisme et en particulier par les tableaux de Matisse exposés en 1905. Il travaille avec Othon Friesz, et Albert Marquet sur des tableaux de rues pavoisées de drapeaux, de fêtes de village, de plages. En 1908, prenant conscience de l'importance capitale de Paul Cezanne, il abandonne le fauvisme. Il exécute des études d'arbres, de chevaux, de modèles en atelier, des natures mortes. Il fréquente aussi Georges Braque, André Lhote, et Jean Marchand.

Dufy's fashion illustration began in 1909 with the great French couturier Paul Poiret and continued with the Lyons-based silk manufacturer Bianchini-Ferier who invited Dufy to work on an industrial scale.The first plate is just a little rubbed at bottom edge otherwise a very good and attractive set in a very good indeed clean folder.
