This is a fine softcover copy with no wear at all. Completely clean. Text in Italian with a summary in French. 99 black & white illustrations. 9" high X 6" wide, 449 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
Book is in excellent condition. Binding is solid and square, oversize format in bright orange heavy cloth with gilt letting at cover and spine. Covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Dust jacket shows moderate wear with chipping at top spine, two very small tears and one 1" closed tear near spine. 244 illustrations, including 190 full page plates in full color, with descriptions/commentary at end of book. Plates are impressively large and from the collection of Italian paintings in the Leningrad Hermitage. Artists include Simone Martini, Campigli, Morandi, Guttuso, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Titian, Veronese, Carracci, Tiepolo, Guardi, Canaletto, 307 pp.

Incisione all'acquaforte (mm. 165 x 255 all'impressione di lastra + ampi margini) di G. Zancon (1711-1816), databile ai primi del sec. XIX. Gore ai margini che non intaccano la parte incisa. Ha come fonte l'affresco di Giov. Batt. Zelotti (1526-78) per la Villa (palladiana) di Caldogno: parte d'un ciclo di 5 realizzati nella cosidetta "Stanza di Sofonisba" negli anni '60 del '500. L'errata attribuzione a P. Veronese è attribuibile al fatto che l'allievo Zelotti aveva con lui collaborato ad altri affreschi (fra cui "L'incontro di Massinissa e Sofonisba") alla villa/castello Porto-Colleoni di Thiele, a Quinto Vicentino. L'iconografia del ciclo di Caldogno è direttamente ispirato alla tragedia omonima di Trissino, la cui rappresentazione del 1562 al teatro ligneo in Palazzo della Ragione, ebbe l'apparato scenico di A. Palladio, allievo del Trissino, coll'ausilio dei pittori G.A. Fasolo e G.B. Zelotti, che poi affrescarono la Villa di Caldogno.

Note sulla peschicultura della Provincia di vErona con dati relativi alla superfice in ettari coltivati e i dati di produzioni nelle località di S.
