Both spines a bit marked near the head vellum a little yellowed vol.I label neatly repaired very good. Early Latin translations first printed in 1469 of Guarino who translated the first ten books and Trifernas who translated the remainder of Strabo one of the authors least frequently printed in his own Greek during the Renaissance. In 4° piccolo (20x14,2 cm); 54, (2 pp. ultima bianca) cc. Legatura muta della seconda metà del seicento in piena pergamena. Tagli spruzzati in rosso. Leggere tracce di polvere e d’uso al frontespizio. Sempre al frontespizio due forellini ai margini alto ed esterno bianchi del frontespizio, un leggerissimo alone al margine alto, tutti ininfluenti e per il resto in buone-ottime condizioni di conservazione. Qualche antica sottolineatura in matita rossa nel testo. Antica nota di possesso privata al frontespizio. Prima edizione di questa celeberrima opera dedicata alla storia di VeroSenza titolo-1na scritta dal celebre giureconsulto, notaio e storico veronese Sarayna (anche Saraina) Torello, considerata una delle prime e più autorevoli fonti per la storia locale veronese dalle origini al cinquecento. L’opera ripercorre le origini della città di Verona ed il suo sviluppo sotto il dominio scaligero nel trecento e quattrocento. L’ultimo capitolo contiene l’interessante “Brieve descrittione de' come se ritrova il Paese di Verona" e il "Tenore del compromesso fatto sopra la pace già fatta da Ezzelino da Romano Podestà di Verona... e Rizzardo de S. bonifacio."
