Title page and the following page are hand colored. <br /> <p><br /> Some spotting to the first few pages but a very good copy.<br /> <p><br /> According to the colophon this is a translation out of the Old Dutch 'for the Pageant'. A handwritten note on the front pastedown reads: "This is the original tale from which the "Miracle" was drawn. E. S. Potter."<br /> <p><br /> Not much seems to be known of the Monk's Head Press. Ransom gives Edwin S. Potter as the printer and dates of activity from 1901-1902 listing this as the first book of the press.
