The Gallery of Living Art is considered the first museum dedicated exclusively to modernism and became a resource for contemporary artists in the downtown New York art scene. Includes four-page essay by Gallatin and a nine-page essay by Mauny. Copy of Ferol Sibley Warthen a listed Provincetown MA artist and student of important modernist Blanche Lazell with her Warthen's small inscription to interior front. Scarce. 7.5'' x 5''. Original silver foil wrappers with circular die cut to front. Original cellophane sheets over front and rear intact though rear detached. Contents partially disbound separated from wrappers.
