Sein erstmals 1744 in Paris veröffentlichter Bericht bringt ausser der Zusammenfassung der wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse auch diverse Beobachtungen über Land und Leute die während der teils unter extremen klimatischen Bedingungen durchgefürt werden musste.
