An original Steinlen drawing of a sitted nude woman beautifully rendered and shaded in blue conté crayon and signed by the artist at lower left. This is one of numerous studies Steinlen made during the early 1900s of what appear to be the same model in nearly all cases with her face obscured though most are far more loosely sketched than this finely drafted example. unknown
