This is a very good softcover copy in a very good blue dustwrapper with light edge wear. Very clean inside, just one tiny tan stain (the size of a finger print) to the edge of the front blank endpaper. Otherwise completely clean. This is another volume in Roberto Aloi's famed and prized 'Esempi' series. This volume is Volume 2: Tavoli, Tavolini, Carrelli, (on tables, small tables and serving carts). 250 works are illustrated here in black & white, with information on the designer, producer, materials, etc. Text in Italian. Entries in Italian, French, English and German. Short essay by Italian architect Carlo di Carli. Back in the day these were indispensable references for collectors and dealers. All the volumes covered modern design not only in Italy, but all over Europe, England, America. 11" high X 8" wide. First published in 1956 this copy was reprinted a year later in 1957. This poster was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Athens, Greece at the Deste Foundation for Contemporary Art on Kolonaki Square from June 20 to September 15, 1990.
