Luigi Agricola, Vater des Historienmalers Filippo Agricola?). Mit Druckervermerk: "In Roma presso Agapito Franzetti al Corso".

Von 1870 an lebte der mit Theodor Storm befreundete Schriftsteller zurückgezogen auf Schloß Leopoldskron bei Salzburg und verfaßte u. a. die später von Carl Zuckmayer bearbeitete Novelle ‘Der Schelm von Bergen’ (1879) und die an Heine orientierten ‘Exkursionen eines Österreichers’ (1881).
